Galaxy S24Have you made sure notification categories are turned on? Settings/notifications/advanced settings/manage notification categories for each app. Then go to the app settings for whichever messaging app you are using, tap on notifications, make sure "allow sound and vibration is on", tap on notification categories and make sure the sliders are on for new messages or incoming messages, tap the text and choose a sound. Make sure "alert" is enabled. Also, make sure (if you want it) that you have "pop-up allowed".

Galaxy S24It means the recipient is also using RCS in Google messages and if the two circles are blue, the message was read. If they are not, the message has been delivered but has not been read yet.
