Trust Agents - air commands unlock? What?

If you go to your phone settings and search trust agents, it has air commands enabled by default to unlock your phone. However, I can't figure out exactly what this does. I have tried it both enabled and disabled and pulled out my spen ad it doesn't unlock it. So what exactly is the difference with it enabled or disabled? Try it and see and let me know please.

I already read that. Taking out my S-pen doesn't unlock my phone. No one seems to actually know what it does. I've tried it on and off and nothing changes.

You have to tap the s pen button to unlock your device it says in spen settings

I tried that. I don't see where it says that in settings though. But doing that didn't unlock it.

Tap on the air action icon and click the gear then more s spen settings

Just tried that. It still doesn't unlock it or do anything.
