Unable to uninstall apps.

I have found on the last couple of updates that I am unable to uninstall apps from the home screen or the app drawer you have to go to the Play Store or the Samsung store and uninstall them from there.

Some pre installed app can't be deleted they might be able to disable them,Is your home screen locked?
