Voice typing

Voice typing does not work!!!!!! No Mic, sometimes a small keyboard. it just does not work. I went though your solutions and it did not work!!!! I have spent over 6 hours with verizon on this issue and it is still not solved. I am giving them one more chance to fix it tomorrow. I am going to give them one hour and thats it. 1200 for a phone that does not work. I had one guy say that they could send out a refurbished one and I would need to pay a $50 restocking fee. Unreal!!!!!

What keyboard are you using

Did you try this? Go to settings, in the search box type in Keyboard Lists and Defaults, scroll down the bottom, toggle on the show keyboard button on the navigation bar. The new place for the mic button is the bottom left corner!

If you don't see the mic, press and hold the keyboard icon:

Change the Keyboard button to Voice Input:

 

Microphone icon will be displayed:
