Was the Uncompressed RAW feature been removed?

Can someone clarify why the Samsung S20 series (including S24U) stopped generating uncompressed RAW files sometime in Q1 2023?

In Pro mode, we now have JPEG compression in a DNG container. It is a 12-bit JPEG.

Expert RAW has the same JPEG compression (on 16 bits, probably because of HDR) for S22U and S23U, while on S24U it shows as "Unknown (52546)" compression. According to an article I found on Samsung India, it is said that this is a new JPEG XL compression.

Why not offer the option to get again (as we had before Q1 2023) truly uncompressed mosaiced RAW, which works with the Lightroom Denoise AI algorithm, instead of the current demosaiced compressed Linear RAW, which doesn't.

No I meant Apples Camera API allows you too use a shutter speed limit for motion like 1/500th, the app will raise ISO to keep it and if it gets brighter it will use a faster time so you don't overexpose, this is possible with the App ProShot.

And something not supported in the Android camera API.

I never had a S23U. I have old uncompressed DNGs shot with a S22U in December 2022.

Ah ok, I found a S22U file that is ok from April 22.

I was looking at some reviews with samples on the S23U, found one in April 23 but that's already broken.

Found myself requesting a sample dng in 02/2023, but that link is expired, my immediate reaction was complaining about "low highlight recovery", little did I suspect back then.

Do you know how to check bit depth with a histogram?

April Update: nothing changed

I managed to get my hands on an old S22U that was still on the November 2022 firmware (CWB7).
This firmware was still generating uncompressed mosaic RAW files.
I triggered the update, and the phone jumped to the February 2023 firmware, CWCE.
This is the culprit. CWCE switched from uncompressed mosaic RAW to JPEG-compressed demosaiced RAW.
