What doees the yellow light indicate on my S24 phone while in the S-View case?

A couple times I noticed a yellow light appear on the screen of my S24 while it is in the S-View case.  What does this light indicate?  Is it an important notification?

The phone was quietly sitting next to me last night and I noticed this yellow light.  Yesterday, I noticed the yellow light while in my car and being connected to BlueTooth.

I wish that Samsung had a three-day course on how to use their new phones.  I learned loads of good info on YouTube but haven't learned about the yellow dot.

That you have an unread notification... Swipe from left to right.

Thanks!  Afterwards I figured it was for notifications, but I did not realize you could swipe to see the notofications.
