Galaxy S24I recently purchased an S24 Ultra. I found that it will not connect to Wi-Fi 6E on my home network, only Wi-Fi 6. Using WifiMan, I verified that I cannot detect the 6GHz band.
I know my router is configured correctly because I have other devices using Wi-Fi 6E without issues.
After some online research, I saw that many people have the same problem, and someone listed a few steps to get Wi-Fi 6E working temporarily. I followed those steps, and after a little while, I managed to get the device connected to the 6E network. So, it seems like this is not a hardware issue with my device.
Some people are suggesting that the Wi-Fi 6E feature is region-locked. This seems strange, but my country released the entire 6GHz part of the spectrum for unlicensed use about two years ago.
It seems like this is a software issue. Does anyone know more about this?
