Ive been having an issue with my new s24 ultra. I just upgraded from s23 ultra. When i put the 24 on the wireless charger, it charges for a few minutes then stops. Thought maybe ot was my charger but the 23 works just fine with it. So i tried different wireless chargers and all with same report. Charges for a few minutes then stops. So now i know its the device itself. Same case as my 23 (otterbox) and ive tried with case off anyway with same results. I searched the web and found that this has been a common issue among s24 ultra users and that samsung isn't directly recognizing the issue. Im fully updated. Is anyone else experiencing wireless charging issues as such? Has anyone sent bug reports on the issue? Does anyone know the fix?
Update: after much research, turning off fast wireless charging fixed the issue. The device charges fine on wireless chargers that do NOT support fast charge or by turning fast wireless charging off in settings when using a fast wireless chargers. š¤
So much research, turning off fast charge worked. Your 6 year old wireless charger likely doesn't support fast charge and thats why it be working. Curious, have you tried it on a compatible fast wireless charger?
