The Samsung Galaxy S25 with One UI 7 abandoned the corner edge swipe to activate assistant. Instead now opting to use the power button as the only means to activate assistant. This was a terrible choice. I'm confident I am not the only one who doesn't want to use the power button to activate the assistant and be forced to hold in the power and volume down to turn their devices off. Samsung bring back the option to edge swipe for assistant in the display navigation menu. This should never have been removed.

I agree. Terrible decision! I don't know why they are intent on moving or changing things constantly that had worked fine.

Anyone who sees this, please like my post. This way we can make sure Samsung developers see it and hopefully they'll correct course and give us the option back.

You don't have to hold the volume and power buttons to turn it off. Swipe down from the right side and hit the power icon.
