I would like to know if anyone knows why Samsung does not allow the installation of third-party applications. And I have the restrictions disabled and it still won't let me install. From the media I want to install, third-party applications are allowed to be installed and it still won't let me install.

Have you try to enable install unknown apps? go to your phone's Settings > Security and Privacy > more security settings > install unknown apps and enable the browser you are using to install the app.

That doesn't work either. I enabled it and it won't let me install anything. I restarted the phone and it still won't let me do anything.

Oh .. only these two settings I am aware of. I have many third party apps installed. I had similar issue in begining but these two settings helped me to fix the issue.

What I'm thinking is to reset to factory settings to see if that works for me.
