Not working properly; it doesn't frequently detect trusted places.

Of course; otherwise, my statement will become "frequently does not" instead.

Well, read what I wrote.  It's not the phone, it's the maps. Use a routine instead of trusted places, and then it will work. When setting an address in a routine, you have the option to expand the radius around the address so it will encompass the whole property, as Google maps does NOT know the area of any given address.  Therefore, it will detect a trusted place when you walk or are in proximity but may not detect you are in that very same place should you move to another location within the property.  Especially problematic in apartment and office buildings.  Setting a routine and either just using a connected wi-fi network or linking the wi-fi network to an address is much more accurate and will work every time. You can add multiple addresses and/or wi-fi networks to a routine and it will activate when any of the conditions are met.  See examples.

Trusted places doesn't always work because Google maps does not know the dimensions of said place, so it can work in one part of the location, but not another. Either use the slider to expand the radius around the address or create a routine to link to a Wi-Fi connection rather than locations. You can also add addresses and extend the radius in a routine if there is no Wi-Fi connection at that location. Routines work better than extend unlock for trusted places.
