Facebook notifications not working

back on s20 plus phone in aug 1 day facebook notifications stop working in past sometimes notifications pop up and stop i uninstall and reinstall back they start working again

i did uninstall and reinstall back in aug and nothing came up i should left it alone did it i think on that phone it had notifications categories that i think say deleted

in past if stop working then it i will uninstall and reinstall the start working again

however it seems there's no categories deleted s25 i did uninstall and reinstall other day didn't work i also put facebook appear on top<-not sure that helps or not i thought finally new phone i get notify s25 plus haven't

i think only way to get facebook notification to work is somehow have device level notfications? in which i don't have is that true or not

can somebody show me a screenshot notification categories they got mine goes to missed call and reminders

i think supposed to also display other device level notification i don't know

facebook app notification notification categories not inside the actually app i do have manage notification categories for each app push notifications are on pop up

am i missing something allow notifications your account comments tag reminders more activity about you update from friends friend request people you know birthdays groups video events pages you manage pages you follow markplace messenger fundraisers and crises memories other notifications stages missed call reminders

is there supposed to be another category like other or what if so what should it be?

I Have same. Any push notifications not work on my s25u after switch from s24u. 

notification categories on facebook You have after enable in advanced notifications settings, but is not fix for me.

so you got the same notification categories as me under apps facebook notifications eh

i don't understand i thought that maybe i will finally get notify from s20 plus phone that stop working i wonder how you fixed it  

its only app i can't figure out nobody hasn't message me facebook message app yet<- haven't sent them one it seems i had to put that appear on top on as opposes to my s20 plus phone  draw over app or something like that i forgot what that was

If you have notification categories turned on, you should have a long list for Messenger. Make sure everything is turned on that you want notifications for, especially "chats".

yes that the messenger app i'm talking about the actually facebook that i have issues with not popping out  i only took a screenshot towards the end am i missing another that saids others like device level notifications incoming room calls  etc etc like said in this youtube video i don't know what it looks like from s20 plus to s25 plus since no long have s20 plus

There is an equally long list for Facebook Also, you have to go into your Facebook settings in the app or website and make sure you have allowed them to send the type of notifications you are looking for.

I have everything turned on in phone facebook app and in phone notification settings and also in notification category. When logging in on a PC, all notifications work correctly, only on phone they don't.

can you check your notification categories and see if i'm missing anything if there supposed to be something after that missed call reminder

again i want facebook notifications to pop out of my phone that stop working s20 plus back in aug despite i did clear data and in sept on old phone i don't understand why don't work when i smart switch to old phone to new phone 

i do recall when i never signed in app weds night there was a notification saying find friends that was popping out not sure that was ai samsung suggestion or what when i log in no notification came up weds and thurs before i clear data friday afternoon i do have all send notifications turn on

do you get facebook notifications popping out on your phone or do you have to open app in order to see those notifications  i thought appear on top will work nada

i actually wonder if because that 1 day back in aug when notifications stop working old phone and should left alone but i clear data 1 time somebody facebook message me i did get device notification but nothing else that didn't make them push out and also in sept location issues kept coming up i clear data ever since then between sept to up to last weds night i always had to open up app for notfications when i did smart switch s20 to to s25 last weds night and guy did it at store thurs afternoon maybe because of that reason why not pushing out notifications on new phone and prob never will

i'm going to at and t store today see figure out how to get push notifications to come out perhaps see what notification categories are on another s25 phone since nobody don' t want to to show a screenshot what they have  and see if anything is missing onto why not pushing out

i can't go back to old phone because no longer have it was only phone have to trade into verizon that was factory reset my parents iphones were so old didn't have to

I get all the notifications that I have enabled.
