I inadvertently turned off the SOUNDS AND VIBRATIONS tab.  Now it's missing and sounds and vibrations no longer trigger on this specific app.  How do I get them back?

I DID accidently turn the notifications indicators off. There is NO place to recover them.

It is NOT something that can be deleted. You have to go to the app settings/notifications (pic 1).  Make sure notifications is turned on.  then make sure "allow sound and vibration" is on.  These options are available in the notification settings of EVERY APP.  If you accidentally turned the sound and vibration off for ALL apps, you have to go to settings/sounds and vibration and turn it on (pic 2). The settings may appear slightly different in OneUI7, but they did not change the basic functions of the app settings.  If, as you say, you cannot get these settings back, you will just have to factory reset your phone.

The default for APP NOTIFICATIONS is on the right. If you touch the tile with SOUND and VIBRATION it will vanish like the one on the left. 1742417707852.jpg1742417707859.jpg

Delete the app data. As I said, something is scrambled. Once again, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY YOU CAN DELETE THE SOUND AND VIBRATION CONTROLS. Your turning off the sound and vibration may have, coincidentally, brought out a flaw in the app. You have a couple of choices here.  1) uninstall the app and reinstall it. Yes, it will delete cameras you have configured with it.  2) delete the app data without uninstalling the app.  This will delete any customization settings and your login, but most likely keep any devices that you have configured with the app. I don't use the app, so I don't know. 3) leave it alone and just live with silent notifications. 4) factory reset your phone, which should correct all errors even if you restore your backup.  Those are your only options.

I'm sorry I didn't listen to you earlier. Deleting the data seems to be the answer. It must reconstruct the app file to default. I tried it with a couple of other apps in similar conditions and it restored those 100%. I will now do the one with all the cameras and hope for the best. Thank you sir!

I assume that notifications are a function of the operating system in this case Android 15. I think there is a flaw

If it was a flaw in the OS, then everyone would be having the same issue.  If you do not regularly perform optimizations by periodically restarting your phone and clearing the phone's cache after an update completes, lots of things hide in the shadows and don't get completely cleaned out and then interferes with the way things operate.  Go to device care and turn on auto optimization and then select a day and time for your phone to restart - make sure you choose a time when you are not likely to be using your phone, but not during sleep or it will interrupt backups and certain sleep tracking functions (if you track sleep).  Get into the habit of clearing the phone's cache partition after every update. You don't *have* to do it, but it's good practice.  If you don't do it after each update, at least do it periodically.  In most cases the phones function just fine without doing it, but this is just a bit of insurance that no leftovers are hanging out causing trouble.
