I've had my Galaxy S25 for a few weeks now, and everything was working fine until this morning. Suddenly, I'm not getting any text message notifications—no sound, no pop-up, nothing.
I've already tried:
Checking all notification settings
Clearing the Messages app cache
Restarting my phone.
Ensured Google Messages is Up-to-Date
Ensured no software update is needed
But nothing has worked. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
I have! I had to clear cache and data and reset all my settings again. Sorry I don't have more info other than if you see a grayed out mute icon next to the messages icon in messages settings, that's when it silences notifications. I don't know how to turn it on or off, but I realized whatever that setting is silences all texts.
