New S25 Ultra - Notifications not working

Howdy!

Received my new S25 Ultra yesterday, set it up via SmartSwitch. Everything transferred correctly but none of my notifications are working. 

Zero.

I have gone though forum postings that other people have posted looking for solutions and most of those has been DND or a routine turned on blocking notifications. 

Things I've checked:

• Do Not Disturb is TURNED OFF.
• No Modes or Routines are running (there aren't any setup).
• Sound is on.
• Vibrate is on.
• No icons or app badges show up on the top.
• The apps that I am testing with I have confirmed that notifications are turned on.
• All the options are selected for the notification options (Lock Screen, App icon badge, Notification pop-up).
• This happens if the phone is sleeping or awake.
• My old phone is still using Wi-Fi and notifications work fine on that one (other than messages and phone cause that's tied to the SIM). Turning off the old phone and waiting a few minutes and trying on the new phone, same thing happens.
• If I open the offending app, I can see the unread messages.

Other than wiping the phone, skipping the SmartSwitch and starting from scratch, I am not sure how to move forward.

After the Superbowl I noticed my S25 ultra was not receiving any notifications. My S23 ultra on the other hand was redwing all alerts. Is anyone else experiencing this problem ? I did everything to make sure it's working but the only thing left is to do a full reset and I don't want to do that. Anyone else?

Not at the moment. Try to clear the cache off the device.

I have looked through all of the forums and available information for this topic, but nothing has helped. 

My lock screen turns on in accordance to the vibration I receive from the notification, but I don't see it show up in the notification section on the lock screen. When I unlock my phone I get all of the notifications I have missed due to this. It is only certain apps, which is really weird. 

I have disabled app snoozing, always on display; enabled notification categories, while making sure that the proper notification settings are set for the apps I am having problems with, disabled notifications then reenabled, restarted my phone, and powered it off completely. 

I am switching from an Iphone 15 Pro Max to the Samsung S25 Ultra. I am really trying to love this phone, but this is really annoying 

This didnt happen from the beginning either, notifications were fine from when I got it (February First) until a couple days ago (February Fifth).

!!! THIS WORKED

Open Gmail>settings>click your email address>inbox notifications then check the box that says label notifications then notify for every message

It's unfortunate this happens but this should help everyone out.

Dont work, s25 have softer problem, gmail and rest app working randomly, little work, little dont work.... S25 have problem when is screen turn off....

This worked for my S25 Ultra and my wife's. It's a simple thing that should be on by default but isn't.

I'm also having notificationsissues with my S25 Ultra. The issue is also not consistent, meaning I get some notificationsfrom some apps but get no notifications from others. Also sometimes the notifications have a sound but other times no sound at all. It' really messy!

I jumped from an iPhone 12 to this new phone using Smart Switch. Maybe that's what causing the issue? I'm really trying to love this phone but this is a very basic feature that should not have issues at all. 

Please someone find a fix soon.

Keep filling out the feedback and sending screenshots in the Members App. It's the only way to get them to pay attention.
