Galaxy S25Howdy!
- Do Not Disturb is TURNED OFF.
- No Modes or Routines are running (there aren't any setup).
- Sound is on.
- Vibrate is on.
- No icons or app badges show up on the top.
- The apps that I am testing with I have confirmed that notifications are turned on.
- All the options are selected for the notification options (Lock Screen, App icon badge, Notification pop-up).
- This happens if the phone is sleeping or awake.
- My old phone is still using Wi-Fi and notifications work fine on that one (other than messages and phone cause that's tied to the SIM). Turning off the old phone and waiting a few minutes and trying on the new phone, same thing happens.
- If I open the offending app, I can see the unread messages.

Galaxy S25Yeah, some of them (random) do fire when the phone is locked and the screen is off, but most of them only arrive when I turn on and unlock the phone.

Galaxy S25I am having the same issues just went from a s22 to the s25 ultra I'm not getting discord, or Gmail notifications. They still work on my 22... going to give it a few days if not I'm returning the 25 and going back to the 22 what a joke

Galaxy S25I was having the same issue. Managed to fix it by deleting all Gmail app data, then reconfiguring the app from scratch.
I also disabled/re-enabled Gmail beforehand, but I don't think that did anything.
Once I did the Clear Data then reconfigured, I received a bunch of old notifications in one go, then started receiving new ones as new emails came in. Notification dots for the Gmail app started working too, which was nice.

Galaxy S25You shoulldn't. Moreover, I'm pretty sure that kind of "fix" is a temporary solution.
The problem is some kind of battery optimization of all apps. Gmail is just one of a ton of apps that are affected.
