I installed company portal on my new S25 Ultra and signed using my work credentials and then I press Begin to create a Work Profile. It does something for 3-5 seconds and gives me an error "Can't add Work Profile'.
I checked with my company's IT Admin and there are no policy restrictions and they asked me to try on other devices.
I tried it then on my Note 20 Ultra and S24 Ultra and it worked fine. Seems like there is an issue with S25 software compatibility or something.
I called Samsung Care and they blindly shirked off their hands and told me to contact my IT Department š Pretty useless. If there is no solution I might have to return the phone since I can't have a phone without my work email and apps.
Yup. I am also using Intune Company Portal. Such a bummer :-(. My IT Desk say talk to Samsung about S25 since it is working on Note 20 Ultra and S24 Ultra and Samsung says talk to your IT Dept.
I am the IT director for my work, and I cannot connect any of my microsoft apps to my account on this device. It needs to be fixed asap, or I'm going to need to send it back. It repeatedly tells me that the password is incorrect and never does MFA to verify. This is likely a related issue.
It doesn't complain about the password for me. It takes the password, even sends me the MFA code and it proceeds. It's failing at "registering the device" step for me. It has even created the "Work" profile for me in the phone menu
Ditto. Straight Google Workspace with MDM Advanced, not EMM, but it errors creating the work profile and won't let the account finish signing in. Every possible setting to allow this is set, it works fine on older devices, and it even errors testing third party apps that try to create the work profile without connecting my my specific Google Workspace. One odd thing, the Android Device Policy goes straight into scanning a QR code for EMM and nothing else, but EMM is not configured and there is no QR code.
