Samsung should also have a feature to silence calls with caller ID and number, but not block them, unlike Apple phones, since I receive scam calls daily. In short, calls not on your contact list would go straight to voicemail. And Samsung should also improve its visual voicemail to transcribe it to text in addition to playing it.

No it’s up in to the manufacturer if they want to add the feature into the phone dialer like Apple has which mutes all notifications from unknowns callers hopefully one day Samsung will add this because I get way too many unknowns also

Many carrier call filter apps have this option samsung as far as I know only has in phone settings block unknown numbers

In the 24 ultra you would be able to stop calls going into VM with unknown numbers ...not certain about the 25 ultra just started setting things up 2day
T-Mobile has Scamshield which works quite decently blocking unknown or phony numbers.
Samsung had Hiya in the 24 ultra not certain about the 25.
I had to go premium with Scamshield as getting so many of late.
They definitely give you an option not to send unknown or spam/scam calls to VM.
It is annoying & frustrating having to deal with all these ficticios numbers which are spoofed.....Will update if I find another resolution.
BTW...many of my friends with Apple have the same problems.

The audience lacks the technical expertise to comprehend my explanation that the device, not the carrier, automatically silences unknown callers.

My previous Apple phone, using iOS 13 and later versions, included this feature. Blocking differs from silencing; blocking routes unrecognized calls directly to voicemail.
