Not receiving pop up notifications Samsung S25 Ultra Google Messages

I am unable to get my messages to pop up on my screen when it's not in use. I get my ESPN, barstool, etc they all pop up. I have done everything to make sure I have the right settings on and still nothing works.

Have you ever used Google Messages on Web? I had a similar issue, and it was because I signed into messages on my tablet and had it sync, which seemed to cause a ton of issues with notifications.

If you did use Messages for Web, I found that by signing out of your account in and Messages app and signing back into your phone fixes it.

Are you using the good lock module edge lighting+?

I can't figure out how to allow notifications now.
