Please do NOT tell me this is a "feature". Let's say for medium app icon size the icons in vertical drawer look way bigger. You can see difference between horizontal and vertical drawer on the screenshot. Please correct this in One UI stable release. Pretty sloppy.

Download Goodlock and get Navstar. Then go to home screen settings and then icon settings.

I agree. Probably the first thing I noticed with UI 7. It bothers me enough that I'll stick with the horizontal drawer.

I get that can be annoying but I actually do not think that is something made by mistake or from sloppiness . This is me thinking out loud. Look at the screenshot I see the vertical drawer having larger icons with the horizontal rows having 5 icons in them as noted. In the horizontal drawer, to view each window one has to swipe left/right, but the bottom of the screen shows the amount pages expressed in the number of dots at the bottom, meaning all of the apps to fit on one screen will take that many pages to contain all of the app icons across all of them.

Those dot placements then  squeeze some of the vertical space out which by default would shrink down the icon size to contain 5 in a row for that limited vertical view. This is visually noted that between the two choices in the screen, there are 6 vertical rows of 5 icons horizontally, that line up regardless of the setup in the screenshot examples provided. I see this as a limitation of the binary system.

You are wrong. Here is the view on small icon size. It can be done. They overdid on medium size. 1741008552057.jpg

OK, using that small size, do a side by side as in the OP example, not just one shot. Here is mine..

Yes they overdid on vertical drawer side like I said. Now on small size go to Home and you will see what i mean. The contrast between Home and app drawer is huge. Id like to use small app icons but home looks way too small

I am requesting this earnestly. Please do the same screenshot that was provided as in the very screenshot posted in the beginning of this thread and in the one I provided as requested by you using small icons. Using the small icon setting and show how they are all the same. I just provided my example. I already explained how binary code works and that cannot be changed.

It also not possible to make the actual home screen totally vertical, only the app drawer.
