Does anyone know how to create a notification schedule for an app on One UI 7? I researched online, and it suggested using "Do Not Disturb" or a third-party app. However, I'd prefer to use the default settings or Modes and Routines. On my days off, I still receive many messages from my company's group chat that I want to ignore. Any ideas? Thank you.

This is from Perplexity AI as I input the your question verbatim..

"To create a notification schedule for your app on One UI 7 using Modes and Routines, follow these steps:

Open Modes and Routines:

Go to Settings > Modes and Routines.

Create a Custom Mode:

Tap Add mode > Custom.

Name your mode (e.g., "Day Off"), assign a color, and icon, then tap Done.

Set Triggers:

Under Turn on automatically, choose triggers like specific days (e.g., weekends) or times.

Tap Add condition for more options.

Silence Notifications:

Enable Do Not Disturb to block unwanted notifications during this mode.

Optionally, under Restrict app usage, limit access to messaging apps like your company chat.

Save and Activate:

Once configured, save your mode, and it will activate automatically based on the triggers you set. "

Oh, I got it. It's a bit confusing when the functions of Do not... and Modes.. overlap when set up, but I did it. Thank you so much

You're welcome. Every now and again I'll use AI for help, but most times I can navigate functions and features. I hope your new phone works out for you! šŸ˜Š

Usually in the settings, you can turn off notifications for that app. If not, you can put it on, do not disturb, and then you can choose who you want to receive calls from all messages from. Or you can set it for a certain amount of time. I would start trying, but just do not disturb because they have a lot of variations in the settings, for do not disturb. Pull down your home screen and then touch the gear on the top right hand side.Didn't put in the search bar, do not disturb
