Galaxy S25
Hey everyone,
Let me start by saying, so far I'm loving my S25 Ultra! I'm very happy that I have upgraded from the S23 Ultra, even though I was very bummed like a lot of people that the S Pen Bluetooth connectivity has been removed, which I used for shutter button a lot to take pictures. I found that even though that has been taken away all the other great features that have come along with this new phone outweighs that one small detail for me.
But....I just noticed when taking a screen recording of my grandson on Instagram doing a little dance to music. It saved to my gallery, when replaying it, it was very tinny sound, I don't know if that's a word lol, but it sounded like it was in a tin can. It's horrible.
I still have my S23 Ultra so I went to check and compare, I have all the exact same video settings and audio settings like The Equalizer ect.
Recorded it on my S23 Ultra, the playback music is clear.
As far as listening to music on Spotify, let me say it is absolutely beautiful! What a difference from my S23 Ultra the speakers on this phone are amazing. With that being said, does anybody have any ideas why my screen recording videos the music would be so off. Thank you in advance for any help that anyone can give me.

Did you perhaps have "record media and microphone" setting on and it was picking up your background sound as well?

Galaxy S25You think there was silence, but even "silent" rooms make a sound when being recorded - it's like white noise, but it's there. Try it. Turn on your sound recorder in a completely silent room and see what comes out on the recording. The mic picks up the ambient sounds.

Thank you for your thoughts, I was thinking of that today so I went up into my bedroom where it's very quiet can't even hear cars go by. And I did recording I played some music that wasn't being recorded on the phone then I played a YouTube video and I played from my Spotify. And definitely using the screen record doesn't come close to what you're hearing yourself when you play it back.

Also remember that I did the same screen recording sitting there doing my s23 ultra right after I heard that it sounded really weird on the playback with my s25 ultra. And on my s23 ultra it sounded more normal of what I was hearing on the screen during playback
