GOT THE NEW S25 Ultra in titanium jet-black last Friday evening.

Right away it becomes my sketch pad (it's dreadful to lose bluetooth functionality) but I will survive. Right?

As long as I can listen to my 5000 song collection. I have these really awesome sounding JVC Gumy USB-C earbuds which I've been using since the Note 10 Plus, Note 20 Ultra, S24 Ultra, and now with the current phone.

I've been enjoying my very very long public transit commutes to and from work listening to music and drowning out the hustle, and bustle.

Last night I wanted to post some tiktok content and didn't know where my wired earbuds were!  So I used my not so good sounding bluetooth earbuds. Tiktok hates that they prefer wired, go figure ?  Especially when you're going live, I don't know why?  They kept pestering me with prompts to switch to wired earbuds.

So I ran all around and finally found my wired buds which slipped under my gym bag somehow and not in its dedicated pouch. OK.

So I disconnected bluetooth buds and proceeded to plug my wired buds in.  Suddenly the buds stopped working? I panicked. I did the following to diagnose the situation:

1. Made sure wired charging works. Check!

2. Made sure bluetooth worked. Check!

3. Made sure DEX worked. Check!

4. Made sure memory stick data backup and transfer worked. Check!

5. Plugged wired earbuds into every other phone and devices, laptops and PC to make sure it still works. Check!

Why did my brand new S25 Ultra transmit media audio and calls perfectly since day one, but suddenly not working as intended?

Anyone here wanna try and see if your wired USB C buds work, if you all even use wired buds?  They sound better and with zero latency for me, i keep going back to them.

I'm not referring to clearing the cache of the USB app. I'm asking if you have tried wiping the device cache of your phone?

Yes I have. That's in device care. I do that routinely after a day of use. I'm OCD.

No that is not in Device care. You have to use the recovery menu to wipe the device cache partition.

I accidentally hit this as a solution accepted when really I wanted tk reply by saying it didn't work but thanks for the instruction. I had to google how to perform it.  The community days do this but I have to Google as to how to execute the suggestion.  This also did not help my wired usb c ongoing issue.

No, there are no actual Samsung reps. This forum is a peer to peer, user to user support forum. You would have to contact Samsung Support or take it to a service center to initiate an exchange.

My headphone USB adapter is working. It was a quick test of jiggling, shaking, plugging in and out power to the split. However, I am having trouble with other USB cables that work fine on other devices as well as the S22 I had. There is some wiggle on the S25 jack that may be an issue. I am concerned might be a flaw with the unit.

I don't know how to do anything diagnostics wise there is nothing online obviously because this is a new phone in the market. But this is the first bug I found.

This morning I had this great idea to hold down all the buttons on the wired buds controller while I restart my phone.

Suddenly I have control now of the phone with the usb c buds !   Everything was working like it had for first 2 fulls days of having this nee phone.  But as soon as I unplugged it and plugged it back later.  It wasn't responding again. So I really don't know what happened?

Mine is solid and what ever I plug in and remove has a satisfying tight click, brand new strong grip on all usb c cables.

I clicked the accept solution by accident lol.  It actually did not work to do a cache wipe and reboot. Oops.
