Should we get insurance from Samsung

My wife and I just got the S25 as a business phone through Verizon and weā€™re not sure whether to get the insurance through them or Samsung.

What are the pros and cons of getting it from either of them?

I would get it through your carrier if you have a carrier device!
It's easier just to walk into a Verizon store if you have problems.

I have it from both Verizon and Samsung I didnā€™t wanna take the chance and with Verizon my insurance covers I think 4 devices on my line were Samsung only covers 1 device per policy

I never got insurance on any of my phones and I hold onto them for many years, but I did this time from Samsung.

I paid for insurance through verizon for 4 yrs and paid off what looked like a brand new s22. ended up getting my device completely hacked inside out and verizon sent me a refurbished piece of junk that didn't work. waited on the 2nd one which had something wrong with it too. customer service is terrible and they don't care by any means. finally gave up when the pre order for the s25 ultra was ready. I got an unlocked device and the care plus with Samsung. I'll never pay verizon for anything except service again. they also disable samsungs security to add their own which is danger obviously

 @lemonbean  Just remember if something happens and you use Care plus for a replacement it will be a refurbished device also that they send to you.

yes I'm aware. however it will not be pieced together by junk parts that aren't genuine Samsung. I'm not sure where those phones came from but they were garbage. it was some third party company that I had to deal with too. they aren't even part of verizon.
