The current version of the wear app is installed on my S25plus. The issue is that I can't complete the set up between phone and watch as the app drops the connection to my Galaxy 7 watch at about 74%. I have connected the watch to a S23ultra using the same version wear app with no issues. I have reset the watch, phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Turned Bluetooth on an off multiple times all to no avail. Even Samsung support can't resolve this issue. Does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix?

Galaxy S25Try this; go to Settings/General Management/Reset. Open that and then click on "Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings" then hit the reset settings button. Now this will clear our your Wi-Fi connection and will need to login to that Wi-Fi account andd this will also clear out all Bluetooth devices and all apps previously connected to the phone. Now try and re-pair the Galaxy watch.

Galaxy S25Hi Tom6068. Thank you for your reply. Tried your solution with no luck. The App still gets to about 74% and then drops the connection to the the watch.

Galaxy S25Hi again Tom6068. It was on and the same result Getting ready to connect.... gets to 74% and then dumps the process. No device found which is really odd seeing that I can confirm the pairing codes. More info. S25. Scanning for Devices finds the watch and is showing as available to connect, selected connect and the processes of connecting starts. Got to 76% second time round. Watch says "Connection failed. Try again.

Galaxy S25Hold the power and the volume down buttons at the same time. Then when getting to the power off/restart etc screen, touch and hold the power off button and the safe mode will show. Press that and try pairing the watch there. If it does pair, exit safe mode by restarting the phone and going back to regular settings. If it fails again, then an app or some other 3rd party function is preventing it from pairing.
If it does not pair, resetting the device may be the only next attempt.

Galaxy S25In Safe Mode the Wear App is disabled and you can't make a Bluetooth Connection to the watch. Looks like I will have to try a Factory Reset.
