On my S24, it rarely backs up. When I go to settings, it says it hasn't backed up in about a month, even though I have every option checked. There's no way to manually back up. It's frustrating.

Unless they changed it in OneUI 7, you can certainly manually backup to the cloud. In settings tap your Samsung account, scroll down to Samsung cloud, tap that and the scroll down to backup data. You will be presented with options of what to back up and at the bottom should be a button to back up now. You also can use Smart Switch to back up to a flash drive with more extensive options for what to back up. 1741091851374.jpg

i saw this when i go into looking for something else samsung cloud saw wifi chat keep saying

Open Settings. Go to Accounts and backup. Select Samsung Cloud. Choose Back up data. Enable the toggle switch next to "Automatic backup" to turn it on. This will allow your device to automatically back up your data to Samsung Cloud at regular intervals.

toggle to automatically backup to turn on what the heck i don't see it on my at and t phone  s25 phone all i see is that auto roaming turn on or off meh

Samsung Cloud is a joke! This is exactly why I've chose to use the Google Cloud for years now!

chat thinks because i put it on always on display then it will not do it automatically they think turn it off then it should do it that's just sorry  having it on consumes power continuously, which might interfere with the battery level required for the automatic backup process.

have never heard this before  when i put phone on charger i always had it always on display even on my old phone s20 plus from verizon granted verizon disable samung cloud but still

i do have google drive well google now and it backup every day no issues meh

tell me something there really ain't no switch to toggle automatically back up on or off on s25 phone with 7.0 samsung cloud eh

all there is that auto roaming turn on or off?

i pretty much doubt that by turning always on display off will fixed automatically back up data 24 hours anyways i don't know why that person said that anyways

In order to back up automatically, your phone must be on, not in use, screen off, have more than 30% battery life, connected to wi-fi and preferably be charging.

The AOD is fine, the home screen or lock screen must be off.  In other words, the screen has timed out.  Yes, you must have at least 30% battery life for the update to take place. The updates generally take place between 1 and 3 a.m. when users are most likely to be sleeping and charging their phones.  The network connection must be active. So, if you are one of those people who power down your phone at night, it's not going to backup. I believe wi-fi is required as the system has no way of knowing if your mobile data is unlimited.
