Thought I'd share the following nerdy analysis of battery usage of my GW Ultra over a typical 24-hour period.  I'm happy with this performance.

I've had this watch for 6 days now, and after a couple of "learning" days and latest updates installed, the watch has settled into a decent battery usage rate.

Summary of a 24-hour test period:

Battery loss was 30% over 24 hours (starting at 100% charge)

Settings and usage over 24 hours:

* Bluetooth mode only (not connected to LTE cellular data plan)

* AOD = OFF

* Wifi (auto) = ON

* Google Assistant "Hey Google" listening = OFF

* Watch face = simple black background with white font

* Brightness setting = AUTO

* NFC = OFF

* GPS = OFF (except for exercise mode)

* Heart Rate Monitoring = Manual only

* Raise Wrist and Touch Screen to wake = ON

* Sleep mode used at night while sleeping

* Text and email notifications setting = ON

* Message Notification - Turn on Screen and show with details = ON

* Usage included a 1-hour bike ride with AOD (fitness mode) OFF

Notes:

This battery usage compares nicely to the experience I had previously under the same conditions with the GW5Pro, and even slightly better.

The 1-hour exercise session burned only 7% (the GW5Pro consistently burned 10% per hour of exercise).  AOD in exercise mode was turned off, but I checked the watch a couple dozen times to check time and distance during the bike ride.

So without an exercise session, the Watch Ultra burns through about 1% of battery per hour with the settings above.  That works out to about 2.5 to 3 days of battery life with needing a charge under typical usage.

Certainly not terrible... for me, anyway. YMMV šŸ˜Š

What's your battery drain at night with sleep tracking? I'm seeing 12%

I pretty consistently get 6% overnight with sleep tracking on and sleep mode activated.

I have two ultras, the first was the grey and the newest is the silver.  The grey will only last 42 hours but right at this moment with the silver I'm at 47 hours with 10% battery left.

Both watches are set identically, basically clones of one another so no differences other than one is newer than the other.
