Galaxy WatchHello and Happy New Year.
Does anyone know if there is a way to calibrate or change the step stride length on Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and if so, would you please post it?
Thanks in advance!

Galaxy WatchWhen running on a treadmill the distance on the watch compared to the running machine is out by around 25%. The watch assumes a much smaller stride. I'm 6 ft.
Others recommended to complete some street runs so the watch can recalibrate the stride length. I did this, but it failed to resolve the problem. The watch still believes my stride length on a treadmill is far less than road running which makes no sense.
It gives me a chance to correct the distance after each activity, but many stats do not correct themselves like average pace etc. Nothing is even close to the average and maximum pace I'm actually running which is incredible frustrating. It pretty well makes the science and role of the tracker pointless.

Galaxy WatchI am 6'4" , so im on the higher end of height averages, but not enough to stand out as as an anomoly lol.
When i go to the gym i notice my step counter is significantly lower when i do a mile on the treadmill. I was wondering the same as well if there are advanced calibration options. I know the average height of Korean and American Men is 5'8" to 5'9" and 5'2-5'4" for women. So id like to know what this algorhytm does for just the pedometer in general. Since GPS isnt a factor ( my activity is in the same place almost always at work or home/gym)
I would like a way to make sure my data is accurate because clearly that could be a 10-20% difference with stride. I know step counters are an estimate in general depending on watch position and arm movement but if the option is there would like to know how to tweak it.
