Will updates have to be installed separately on a newly purchased Galaxy watch Ultra and watch & trade-in?

I finally decided to purchase the Watch Ultra, with the sale going on right now and trading in my Watch 6 classic 45mm I was able to get it for a very low price.

Can't wait !

With it being months old already and a few updates later, will I have to install each update separately?

I traded in my Galaxy Watch 6 the other day and was able to upgrade to the 7 for $31. That was very exciting, and I absolutely love the watch. It is a big difference from the 6 to the 7. Thank you, Samsung.
