Hi all,

I have a problem with my Galaxy Active 2 watch, after being in the pool the watch went into a type of 'eternal reboot', after a few days the 'Searching for AP' screen appeared No hard reset option works! The watch charges to 100% and when removed from the charger the battery dies after a few hours I suspect through the display which is non-stop active. Any ideas good people šŸ«£

Thank you

Hello Jack80, welcome to the Community, and thank you for reaching out. Apps you download and install onto the watch can cause the watch to get stuck in a boot loop or not boot past the logo screen. Rebooting it should fix the problem, but you will need to uninstall any apps that were installed before the issue occurred. If the watch is connected to a phone, you must clear the data for the Galaxy Wearable app. If the problem continues, inspect the watch and charger for damage. Check these steps out: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003223/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options: 1. Definitely recommend a new watch but this time maybe buy a case so your new watch won't get dented over time and be susceptible to water or dust damage

You're probably right, but I'm trying to solve the problem, if it's repairable then I see no reason to buy a new one šŸ«£
