I'm fairly certain that I'm asking a long since answered but here goes regardless of response. What i want and need to do is find best prepaid carrier to supply esim card that will work on watch. I know functionality is restricted but current carrier say their esims won't work at all (mint mobile). Bad thing is i think they will, just in limited capacity. Can anyone verify that you can use mint mobile esim standalone in galaxy watch 4 classic, and how well it worked for them. If not I'm looking for reliable, economical, not much else do I expect, phone carrier that can provide e-sim that will at least work as phone. Keep mind mint is 15 a month for me, as unlimited as they get.

They are activated by an iccid number specific to each wearable
But they are NOT a standalone device. You have to connect them to a phone to set it up. After that, you can disconnect it from your phone, but initially you have to pair it to set it up

Galaxy Watch@misterroscoe I would be surprised to find any prepaid carrier which supports a watch plan.
