Galaxy WatchTry going to the wear app > watch settings > notifications > app notifications and then turn off the slider for Gmail. This category of settings lets you decide which apps can send notifications to your watch. While you are there, you can turn on or off any applications for which you do or do not want notifications on your watch. You will still receive notifications on your phone.

Galaxy WatchThank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with the notifications turning back on for Gmail. Just to clarify are you opening the app on your watch prior to the notifications turning back on?

Galaxy WatchThank you for following up. So you are disabling the Gmail notifications through the wearables app on your phone? Are you opening any Google apps on your what prior to the notifications turning back on?

Galaxy WatchThank you for that information. The next step I would recommend is a factory reset of your watch. Please back up your watch prior to factory resetting. I would also recommend testing your watch before restoring the backup to rule out any software that may be causing these symptoms. Give this link a try for the steps to factory reset your watch: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/
If you have tried factory resetting your watch and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend a service repair. For in-warranty repairs: Please feel free to reach out to us directly via one of the following options and include a link to this thread.
