I would like a better update policy for Galaxy Watches that assures that it receives updates every 2-3 months (Quarterly) instead of beyond that time frame. For example, the Galaxy Watch 6 Series last update was in March/April 2024 and they are yet to receive an update. The next update is One UI 6 Watch, Wear OS 5 and the Beta Program for the Watch 6 ended on October 24th but further rollout did not commence yet. I hope Samsung improves in the future
Does your watch no longer work because it's not updated, or, are you just that impatient? Yes, the watch should receive quarterly updates. However, I myself would prefer to have the quarterly updates with no bugs or requiring any further refinements rather than releasing an update that's not been completely tested and ready for release in the wild.
