My hard fall detection isn't working on my new samsung Galaxy7 watch. I've got Verizon as my mobile carrier. I've chated with samsung support and followed their instructions without, resolve.
I don't believe the hard fall detection ever worked as intended on any of the watches since it's been implemented. There are plenty of people here who have complained they went down hard without triggering the alert. If it ever actually worked for anyone, I wish they'd speak up.
