My galaxy watch is not letting me set it up

My watch is not letting me set it up it is stuck on check your phone to complete setup

Have you called Samsung tech support? What model is it? Where are you located?

I did not call Samsung tech support it is the watch 4 classic and I live in the us

And what phone do you have? Have you tried making sure that the phone and wearable app are all updated to the latest software version? Is this watch a new purchase or are you doing a reset up after a factory reset? As much detail as possible please.

I have the z flip 5 and it is fully updated and so is the wearable app
