Hey guys, so I currently have a Galaxy Watch active 2, and I really only use it as a step counter and heart rate monitor when I go for walks with my dogs, it helps me time my walks so we stay consistent. Over the last 6 months I've noticed the watch seems less accurate about our steps and walk times. So last night I was looking into the Galaxy Watch 7, but I'm also seeing reviews saying the watch isn't accurate for fitness. I really don't want to spend a ton on just a watch, Samsung is offering me 125$ off the watch 7 if I trade in my current model.
I'm just so unsure, I like the aspect of having a Samsung watch because I have an S24 Ultra and Tab S10+, monitor, TV, heck, even my washer and dryer are Samsung. I really only need the watch for my walks and workouts, I just love the Samsung ecosystem. Are there any other watches you guys can recommend that work well with Samsung? TIA!!
Looks like just a bigger screen on the 7 compared to the 4 I prefer the Ultra over all of them lol

Enlarge the photo and you will clearly see the difference. The 7 has the silver casing all around the face. The 4 has a black case surrounding the face, so it looks like a single unit. The rose frame is separate (but attached) to the case. The 7 is a single unit frame and case - cheaper mold. My very first job was working for watch case makers.
Actually, if you pay close attention to the photo you put up of the array, you can see the 4, 5 and 6 all have 2-piece cases and the 7 switches to one piece. It's harder to see with the all black cases/frames.
I also had the watch 2 active. I traded it in for the Watch5 Pro when I got my z fold4. I loved ā¤ that watch, but I traded it in for the ultra when I got the z fold6. I walk my labrador retrievers daily, and the walk tracking and health features are absolutely :hundred_points: great. I can't imagine getting anything else. š Unless, maybe, the yet-to-be announced Classic 8 has a rotating bezel on the front š
