One UI 6 update broke podcasts

I work 11 hour shift driving for work and the whole time I listen to podcasts. Normally the media controller allows me to skip 30s bursts in order to get through redundant parts or ads whatever but since the update it only allows me to skip the whole episode. 

I literally was using this feature yesterday but since this mornings update it's broken. Using my phone to skip the parts is annoying since I drive most of the day. 

Has anyone figured out a solution for this or is there a way to downgrade my watch back to One UI 5?

If it happened right after an update, the first thing *I* would do is clear the cache partition.. you could listen to odcasts on the phone, not the watch.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just did a recovery clear of cache on the watch and no it did not fix the problem.. just skip buttons on the media controller and they don't work for podcasts (greyed out). Currently I'm just using the cover screen on my flip 3 to scrub forward on podcasts. Stinks that my watch has lost functionality.. At least it has good battery life ..

I normally listen to them on the phone not the watch for clarification. If I download them to the watch using the yt music app, it does work but then my bt doesn't work for calls ... Weird.

I assume this was working before the update. My media controller tile has the forward and reverse icons, but I just assumed they were used to go to the next or last song.  I don't usually skip or backtrack music, and I haven't used the controller in quite a while. Is it possible that it's a YT problem with incompatibility with the new OS, or that Samsung changed the functionality of the controls?  I do not have the 6.0 update yet.

If you play a podcast on YT music the icons change to scrub forward/backward 30 seconds.

Wouldn't recommend updating..
