Samsung Watch 5 Pro Apps Walking and Swimming not working unless watch is reset. The walking app converts steps to miles incorrectly sometime it is 1300 steps to a mile, some time 1800 steps etc. when it is reset it is about 2030 to mile which is correct. on subsequent walks it is incorrect.

Similarly the swim app does not show the lap count unless it is reset and it shows only first time.

I am disappointment with the quality and thinking about buying another watch.

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with the watch not tracking your steps and laps correctly. In order to better assist you, are you referring to the Samsung Health app for walking and swimming or do you use a different app?

Correct, these are the apps in Samsung Health and show me icons for walking and swim laps on the watch. I press them and they start monitoring and provide me details on steps, calories, heart rate, distance etc. for walking, and laps, distance, calories, time etc. for swim laps. I have already send diagnostic data along with description to Samsung via members app and have shared the info with Samsumg techs.
