Stop the daily weather notifications after One UI 6.0 update

Creating new post as the other response thread is locked.

Found the solution to  this annoying problem, partially based on a response by user_ezdyuikj on Galaxy forum + one step they were missing:

1. Settings> Notifications> Advanced Settings> 'Manage notification categories for each app' ON

2. Weather app (phone settings > search > weather > apps > Weather app info)

3. Notifications> Enable Allow Notification (this is counter-intuitive but needed!)

4. Notification Categories> The kind of notification you don't want  OFF  (in this case, Daily Forecast)
