Unable to locate my Galaxy watch 5 and the weather shows 5 days behind

Watch keeps saying cannot locate. Weather is 5 days behind and as a mark through on location tab? Help. Galaxy 5 watch :watch:️

Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. I can certainly understand your concern with your watch not showing your location and I would be happy to look into this further for you. The first step I would recommend is making sure your GPS setting is turned on in your watches quick settings. Pull down from the top and make sure the GPS is turned on. 

 

If the GPS is turned on the next step I would recommend is to factory reset your watch. This will allow us to rule out any software that may be causing your symptoms. Please make sure your device is backed up prior to resetting and to test your device prior to restoring from you back up. After update mine sees the phone as a different phone and I had to move watch to the new phone. It worked after I did that.
