Watch 7 Messages

I prefer to use Google messages. Why is when I get a message on the watch it like different than actually going into the messages app? Is there a way to fix this that when I click the message it opens in the Google messages app? First 2 pictures are when I get the message and then click the notification. Last picture is actually opening the Google messages app.

You are opening the Google messges app that's just what it looks like on the watch. J swear some people look for things to get upset about. Only one message app can be default and if you set G message as default, that's what's opening.

I am opening the Google messages app but why does it look different? It shouldn't, both should look the same but they don't.

Looks different when you open to send a new message and when you click on a message to respond. That's just the way it is.

Something I just have to live with. Just wonder why it's that way? Oh well.
