Watch 7 Unable to play media on watch speaker

Hi,

I have an S24 Ultra phone and recently went from a Wtch 6 to Watch 7.

My watch 7 was restored from my watch 6 backup successfully.

I had music tracks on my watch 6

I now see the same music tracks on my watch 7 using phone app. 

Unable to play any music tracks so deleted previous watch 6 tracks using phone app, manage media.

loaded new tracks onto watch 7 successfully.

using media playback devices selection on watch 7. I select watch

screen now shows media controls offering media playback. I press the play button.. Error " can't play try in app "

I am running UI6 on watch and UI7 beta on Phone !

May be my problem ??

I can control phone music track via watch using the new double finger tap to start and stop track.

Happy to be educated on what next to fix problem.

Have you tried resetting the watch and setting it back up?

Not tried reset given the time and effort required to get the base watch 7 customised.

Considering it in the future.

With new beta UI7 regularly issued. I may just wait. Curious on issue and fix.

What method are you using to transfer your media files to your Watch7?

Hi,

I have the music tracks on my phone and using wear app - watch 7 manager - setting - manage content on watch i add and delete music track from phone to watch.

Tracks play on phone speaker and buds.

Watch media app can control music on phone. Just won't play tracks on watch!
