I placed my watch on the Samsung wireless charger last night as I have every night since purchase. This morning, it was so hot I fear I would have been burned out I put it on. A few seconds after taking it off the charger the screen notified me it was shutting down due to over heating. I waited two hours, turned it on, and noticed it was not connected to my phone, a Note 20 Ultra. Using the Wearables app I tried forcing the connection. The app found my phone and tried to connect but would not. Through the day I restarted the phone and the watch several times, but still no luck connecting. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app from the phone. Still no luck. As I got ready for bed I placed the watch on the charger this evening, checking it 20 minutes later to find it was overheating again.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. I understand how frustrating the watch overheating and not connecting is. Have you tried a factory reset of the watch? https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/ If the issues persist, it would be recommended to have the watch evaluated by a certified technician.
