On the Galaxy Watch Active 2 it appears to be impossible to enter a WiFi password with special characters other than ".,?!". I called the Samsung customer support and they were not able to suggest how to do it other than to change the WiFi password to not have special characters which is not acceptable. I have to believe that someone else has noticed this and might have found a work-around, or how to get a bug ticket generated to fix it.

Good that you found a work-around.

Samsung needs to fix this GWA2 (and perhaps GWA) keyboard limitation.

It probably made sense to the programmer. If you swipe right you get a text box, under that is the number 1, under that is the exclamation. Text box is for the standard phone keypad, the number 1 is for a numeric only keypad, the exclamation is for a pure symbol keypad. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,

finally a solution that doens't involve downloading a new keyboard.  When you are trying to enter your wifi password on the active 2 and need special characters, swipe right.  A   1, ! will come up on the edge of a curved bezel that appears in the middle of the screen.  If you tap on the !, it will bring up 5 pages of special characters that include all special characters.   Then swipe right again and choose the little keyboard above the 1 to get back to the normal calculator keyboard you started on.  I never foudn this solution on the web anywhere so i thought i woudl post it.

So problem one down! now i can't figure out how to get the galaxy app store to work on the watch.  I get an error that says 'something went wrong.  Try again.'   I have tried everything, updating the firmware, rebooting the watch, etc...can't figure it out.  Anyone got any ideas?
