Home Theater

I have a HT H5500WZA home theater, several weeks ago my neighborhood experienced a power outage, I was watching tv at the time, the tv and receiver both went out. When I turned on the tv (with my tv remote) I was no longer able to turn on the receiver -- here are the problems.

1) I have to manually change when I want to watch dvd to home theater,

2) and my subwoofer is no longer working.  I hooked it up to my turntable and it's working, but when I check the speakers everything plays but the subwoofer and the center speaker reverts to the left speaker.  But when I have the tv playing I can hear every speaker except the subwoofer.

Were you using a good surge protector at the time? You might try a factory reset on all of your equipment.

Yes I have a good surge protector.  I'm not very confident doing a factory reset, so I'm going the professional route.  Thank you for the quick response.
