I have a Samsung qled 70 65inch and a samsung hw j355 soundbar/subwoofer. I had the soundbar connected to my old Samsung tv and it worked perfectly through the tv connect option. When I set up the new TV it will not recognize the soundbar wirelessly. I've tried the TV connect setting on the soundbar and the Bluetooth setting. Just to confirm the soundbar Bluetooth is working, I paired it to my phone and computer with no problem. Does this point to an issue with my TV's Bluetooth? Any ideas for solutions otherwise?
Unfortunately, due to the age difference between the models, you will need to use a wired connection. The HW-J355 uses Sound Connect which is found on 2013, 2014 and 2015 model televisions.
