Hi everyone

I am experiencing an issue with my Samsung soundbar setup and I'm looking for support for anyone who may have experienced a similar issue with their device.

To give you full context I will break down the equipment I have and what way it set up.

I have a

SAMSUNG S95C OLED TV

SAMSUNG 990C Soundbar

(Technically the perfect ecosystem of devices for it to work well)

I have these both connected over a separate individual WiFi router/network.

(I don't share this router with anything else and have a separate router for the internet and other devices in my home)

I have this router set up on a 5Ghz network.

When I both initially set up these it my surround sound system worked absolutely flawlessly with no hints or hiccups at all.

But between either updating my TV or the soundbar or both, I've now run into an issue where I'm getting intermittent sound dropouts (lasting 1-2 seconds each time) on a regular basis and it's becoming a very regular and irritating occurrence.

This happens one or twice every 15 every minutes or so.

(This is not an exact science as it can happen twice within a short space of time and then mightn't hear for some time.)

But it is regular enough to notice it.

I have also the settings applied on each device......

TV settings

Sound output - Q symphony /WiFi

Sound mode - Adaptive sound+

Soundbar settings.

Source: My TV via the WiFi (Q Symphony)

Sound mode - Adaptive sound+

Space fit sound - ON

Active voice amplifier - ON

In advanced settings of the soundbar

Voice enhancement - ON

Bass enhancement - ON

Night mode - ON

I have a strong feeling that this is a firmware bug issue as I never had an issue prior to doing any update on the TV or Soundbar.

From memory this is coming of most all the inputs of the TV direct apps etc.

I mostly use a 4K Chromecast with remote as my main streaming device.

It is connected into the first HMDI slot and is NOT inserted into yhe eARC hdmi slot.

But the sound is coming via my set Soundbar dedicated Wi-Fi network.

I have read on many other posts between Reddit and on the Samsung support website that many people are experiencing issues this even with HDMI sources and cables.

Have you experienced an issue like this or similar to above?

If so, are you still experiencing this issue?

If you are able to resolve this issue, how did you go about this.

Really would appreciate any input / support you have in regard to this.
