I see this has been discussed a great deal. I have a Q99B soundbar and a S095 65 inch TV. Setup is as follows:
Amazon Fire TV cube connected to HDMI on TV
FIOS Cable box feed connected to output port on the Cube via HDMI
Soundbar connected to TV via E-Arc
The only issue I am dealing with is one that has been mentioned many times. On a frequent basis when turning on the TV and soundbar (Via the CUBE which works well with controlling both devices) the TV switches to internal speakers. Other times when moving from the cable side programming to the Cube for streaming the TV reverts to TV speakers. I then have to grab the Samsung TV remote, which I rarely use, and manually select the sound bar as the audio source. On other days everything works fine. For those who have dealt with this issue, have you determined if this a TV issue, a soundbar issue or an issue with HDMI signaling. All my devices mentioned above have the latest firmware installed.
