Does anyone have a Samsung microwave? It's brand new and the turntable will not turn. The receipt is lost so I'm on my own with repair.

Do you have a turntable button? My GE microwave does. Just push to choose on or off.

No such luck. I was hoping it would be that easy.

Whatever you bought it from should have an electronic copy of the receipt. Have you registered it with Samsung? Did it ever turn? It's possible the installer fogot to either unlock it (some turntables have a transit lock) or there may be tape on the mechanism.

I didn't register it with Samsung until today when I was trying to fix it. It has never turned. I've googled how to unlock it but im not getting much help.

Did it come with a manual? Is it over the range or countertop?

It's over the range. It did come with a manual. All it says is to make sure the coupling thing has a good connection with the motor. It's brand new so I don't think that's it.

If theres a turntable lock it may be controlled by the control panel.
