Kitchen and Family HubI have the same problem. I have extended warranty. It happens occasionally. Seems to be more often when oven is hot and using front right burner.

Kitchen and Family HubI recently received an invitation from Consumer Reports to take a survey about my major appliances, so I took the opportunity to leave a detailed review on this range outlining the numerous issues I’ve had with it, including Samsung’s lack of response, and concluding that I regret buying it.

Kitchen and Family HubI had this happen tonight while we were dehydrating fruit leather. The issue is clearly moisture related. I would plug the probe in and unplug it and it fixed the issue for 10-15 minutes but what completely resolved it was blowing out the probe connection with a can of compressed air.

Kitchen and Family HubI’ve had the same issue and it always seems to occur when I have company over. I’m not sure if it’s because of the large quantities of food being prepared, but just so you all know, I even had the probe receptacle replaced (at my own cost) and the issue persists! Very frustrating! The oven was expensive…I purchased the one where you can slide in a divider, a $1000 upgrade and I’m unable to get any resolution. I love how the range looks with the burner indicators and knobs, etc…but if you can’t depend on the oven working when you need it, it’s not worth it!

Kitchen and Family HubWow, it's disappointing to hear that the problem persists even after you fixed the receptacle. I also have the one with the divider, and agree with the observation that the problem tends to occur during a long cook (such as when cooking all day, ie on a holiday like Thanksgiving). It's not as if this is a $500 or $800 stove. In fact, I kind of wish I had an $800 stove at times 😂.
Samsung really ought to take a deeper look at this issue. The oven freezing up like this on a family holiday is a showstopper. Total fail.

Kitchen and Family HubI’ve had the range for about a year, first time using the dehydrator feature and after a few hours the error popped up. Most be moisture related. Tried plugging in the probe but it hasn’t cleared.
frustrating!

Kitchen and Family HubThis issue occurred just as my warranty is over. The error "To use temp probe, try a different mode" is very persistent and never seem to go away once it shows. I have tried resetting the oven by unplugging the main switch and plugging after hours to reset. Then it gives me about 30min of baking. Then it happens again. Now I can only bake for 15min, then the error shows up again. Call the Samsung support, and it will cost me as soon as they dispatch support regardless if they can fix the problem or not. Extremely frustrated. Not sure what to do next.

Kitchen and Family HubSince this is a design flaw I'm going to try and remedy it by getting a steel nut that is closed on one end to screw onto that piece so steam stays out...or see if a silicone cap is available online somewhere.... but yeah...that's the issue. I have a problem when I cook bacon in the oven.
